This is a one day 8-hour adult driver remedial course. This type of course is usually mandated by the state as a step to be taken in the reinstatement of a suspended license. If you would like to receive a 2 point credit or your license is suspended, you must be at least 19 years or older and have at least 2 points but less than 12 on your license. You can check for this on the Ohio BMV website.

When you attend the class, you will have two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch. At the end of the class there is a multiple choice test. Upon successful completion, you will be given a certificate confirming completion. You may take this to your local BMV or email it to receive the 2 credits on your license. This does not remove points but instead acts as a "cushion" in the event more points are accumulated after your credits have been applied.

Example: You have 6 points on your license and you successfully complete an adult remedial course and your 2 credits have been applied. A week later you happen to be speeding and get pulled over by an officer. You receive a ticket and 2 points are added to your license. The 2 credits you earned after completing the remedial course come into affect by canceling the 2 points you've just received because of the ticket. So in total, instead of acquiring 8 points you still only have 6, thanks to the 2 credits.

In order to attend, you must contact us to register. When there is a class officially scheduled you will be contacted and if you want to attend, you will be expected to pay on the day of the class (classes are typically held on Saturdays, however, it may be held on other days). Scheduled classes may be found here. Cash is the preferred payment method. When contacting, please call at the beginning of the week to increase your chances of reserving a seat, class size is limited. If you call on a Friday and there happens to be a class on Saturday, you may not be able to attend that class and will have to wait for the next one to be scheduled.
